Introduction to Xiuzhou

        Yangtze River Delta covers an area of 100,000 sq.km. With only 1% national land and 5.8% population, its GDP is in the front rank of China, which makes it as an indispensable part in terms of China’s economy. In 2011, the GDP of YRD broke through RMB 8 trillion, accounting for 17.4% of the national GDP. On the whole, it proves to form the richest industry chains and is the most dynamic region in China. Xiuzhou District of Jiaxing City, one of the 16 cities in YRD, has long been crowned as “land of abundant fish and rice and home of silk”. From the historical passage, Xiuzhou connects intimately with Shanghai in relationship and economy. It just locates at the overlapping point composed of Shanghai Economic Circle, Rim Hangzhou Bay Economic Circle and Rim Tai-Lake Economic Circle, which endows Xiuzhou as the central region with most vitality in YRD.
